My name is Katie and I am 11 years old. I wanted to have a blog so that I can write about all the things I do each day. Do you like the view from my room? It's in the side bar. I think its pretty...and there's a lot of things that go on out there. And I'll write about them!
Thanks to a little help from Mom this blog was made. Now pics of my family. : )
This is Chatty.
It must take a lot of energy to jump up on his sill because he had to take a couple of bites of kitty chow before he made it up there... LOL!

My friends are Kimie O., Ella A., Sarah S., and Kim C.
My e-mail pals are Maddi and my Meme.
I can't believe school is in eight weeks. Summer seems like it just flies by.
It's scorching outside today. You could probably cook an egg out there.
Until next time buddies.
That's a pretty pitiful picture you chose of me...my nose is all wrinkled up and my teeth look like Bucky the Beaver! :)
ReplyDeleteMommy loves you Kate....I know this will be an entertaining venture for you. And thank you for being kind about your "siblings".
LOVE YOU!
Nice blog ! Can't wait to read more about your adventures.
ReplyDeleteHi Katie,
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the world of blogging. I really enjoy all the blogs I read and I'll add you to my Google Reader so I don't miss any of your posts. I see that you live in Indiana. I live in Virginia. I've been reading your Mom's blog because of her Cross stitching projects. I love all types of needlework. Do you do any cross stitching or sewing? It is a great hobby and as a girl it helps to know how to sew. I want to wish you well in your blogging and look forward to hearing about what goes on outside your window.
I have a little blog too. Don't write as much as I would like because I work Full time but if you'd like to check it out, it's
guesswhosknitting.typepad.com. Oh, and I have cats too. Love them.

Welcome to the blogging world, Katie! You have a beautiful family, and your blog looks wonderful. My name is Siobhan, and I am American, but I live with my family on the west coast of Ireland, in a county called Clare. We don't have states here, but the country, which would fit into the state of Pennsylvania in size, is divided into counties. I live in the county town, which means that the county government offices are here, and we also have big markets where farmers come in from out in the country and sell their wares.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to reading more blog entries from you!
Hi Katie,
ReplyDeleteHere's a comment from the Netherlands! I read your mom's blog and I'm also a stitcher. Welcome to blogworld! And I love your view from your window. Must be a great garden to play in! My DS Tijmen is jealous of it ;)
Hi Katie! Great blog. Over here in the Netherlands, my kids haven't even started their summer break yet - school is out on July 10th. And then they only get 6 weeks off. What a gyp, huh? But they've never been to an American school and don't know what it would be like to get 3 months off, so they don't miss it.
ReplyDeleteHappy blogging!
Hey Katie! You did such a great job on your blog. You are such a talented young lady! Now we have a way of seeing whats going on in your life on a daily basis. We are so proud of you!
ReplyDeleteWe love you very much,
